HISTORY
Michele Bonino and Subhash Mukerjee were among the founders of the architecture office Coex in 2000. From 2003 they worked separately for a few years, increasing the complexity and the scale of their works. In 2006 they establish Marc.
PHILOSOPHY
Marc searches for an approach that is able to respond meaningfully to the present problems of architecture. Marc believes that the most literal and pragmatic translation of the program gives the most interesting functional and esthetic results.
QUANTITY
The office has completed more than a hundred projects –buildings, dwellings, offices, exhibitions.
QUALITY
Their works have been published on international magazines (Abitare, de Architect, Diseño Interior, Project Russia) and shown in exhibitions such as the 9^ Mostra Internazionale di Architettura at the Venice Biennale.
Michele Bonino is PhD in History of Architecture and Urbanism, consultant for the Turin Metropolitan Urban Center and page editor at the “Giornale dell’Architettura”.
Subhash Mukerjee holds the “Architectural Design” and “Universal Design” courses for the USAC international program.
They are both involved in teaching activities at the Politecnico di Torino, and were tutors of the group of students winner of the Special Prize of the Jury at the last Venice Biennale.
