Id-Lab has been invited to take part in the 11. Mostra Internazionale di Architettura Out There: Architecture Beyond Building, directed by Aaron Betsky.

Id-Lab’s installation will be located inside the Padiglione Italia as a part of the Experimental Architecture section, curated by Betsky and Emiliano Gandolfi.

Fondazione per la Scuola della Compagnia di San Paolo and Id-Lab have over the past months organised the competition Tracce di Design, for high school students from the regions of Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta.

The students were asked to design a map: an object to interpret the reality creatively.
The competition ended April 30th.
The authors of the winning projects will participate in 2 summer workshops organised by Id-Lab: Digital Graffiti and The Travel Notes.

How can the young architectural scene in Italy satisfy the need to improve the Italian landscape after decades of environmental and urban destruction?

The “Luce sul design” exhibition opens on November the 29th at the Museo Archeologico Complesso di Santa Scolastica in Bari.
The exhibition has been curated by Emanuela Angiuli and Marco Petroni with the collaboration of Simmaco Sorbo and promoted by the Provincia di Bari.

The Premio Vespucci organization for research and ethic innovation collects projects for new products, strategies for production processes and design for the future.
Id-Lab presents two projects, based on technology, interaction and creativity: Hackit! and Lightvelope.

The exhibition will take place from Thursday the 25th to Sunday the 28th of October at the Festival della Creatività, Fortezza Da Basso, Florence.
Opening time: Thursday from 3 PM to 8 PM ; Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM.
The entrance is free.
