The exhibition shows works that have participated in the international competition of EIDD Design for All, selected by an international jury. Inauguration of the event, with a DJ set present, will take place on October 16th at 18.00 h.

Thanks to everyone who bought one of these books... I expected to sell about 50 online but instead sold out all 2,000 in the first two weeks which raised £6,000 for UNICEF. It's all thanks to your support so I am really grateful. You can still donate to UNICEF here .

Bombay Sapphire dedicates a week to design and to the wonders of glass and enhances the prize giving ceremony of the Designer Glass Competition with the exhibition of a collection of precious Martini cocktail glasses and two new Live Lectures.
Two important guests, experts in the hand-craft of this material meet and tell the general public about their passion and their work with glass.
On 1st July, the evening opens with host Tobia Scarpa, the great architect and designer from Venice who has glass in his gene pool. Son, pupil and maestro of the greatest tradition of glass manufacturing. Glass is his mean to express liberty and life.
The second appointment is due on 4th July with Emmanuel Babled. Designer and artist, he loves playing with glass, mixing traditional and digital manufacturing techniques.
Born French and adopted by Milan, his free interpretation of glass has renewed the shape and languages of this material, whereas his collections have been exhibited by lots of art galleries and museums around the world.

German-born photographer Michael Wolf documents the extreme densities of Hong Kong. His series ‘Architecture of Density’ rarely contain images of people, instead letting the extreme scale of the buildings remain as the focus. The images are stunning, though I’m not quite sure how to react. It’s overwhelming to view the scale and enormity of the buildings, and then realize that people live there. The post-modernist in me wants to decry the lack of humanity in the high rises. But these images aren’t hopeless. After all, we created those buildings, right?
